Flower Essence Therapy
"The cure of the part should not be attempted without treatment of the whole. No attempt should be made to cure the body without the soul and, if the head and the body are to be healthy, you must begin by curing the mind ... for this is the great error of our day in the treatment of the human body, that physicians first separate the soul from the body."
(via Australian Bush Flower Healing, Ian White 1999)
Flower essences are vibrational medicine, focussing on balancing the emotions and energetics of a living being. They work on clearing emotional or energetic blockages, to get our energy or emotions moving as they should once more.
Australian Bush Flower Essences use infusions of Australian native flowers. They are not essential oils, but infusions containing filtered water and brandy (as a preservative) and are taken orally.
Each flower addresses a particular “negative” emotion state, such as fear or worry, allowing the individual to release these emotions and energies, while supporting the transition to a “positive” emotion state such as peace and acceptance. They allow the individual to reach their higher self in order to promote deep personal healing.
Flower essences can assist with -
Fatigue, feeling flat and low energy
Keeping you grounded in this busy and intense world
Accepting and making peace with trauma or past hurts
Help clear creative blockages and keep you on track to achieve your goals
Help you realise your life direction
Nurturing the nurturer
Accepting and making peace with big life changes
Lifting low self-esteem or confidence
Releasing worries or ruminating thoughts
Flower essences are incredibly gentle and can be used with children and even animals. Flower essences do not interfere with any medications, as they are not biological medicines but vibrational.
I offer Bespoke Flower Essence blends as part of your nutritional medicine consultation, or stand-alone through the Bri Well Nutrition shop. I take great care to formulate each individual flower essence blend based on case history questions and other personal attributes.
I have to say this part: Flower essences should never be used in lieu of professional medical care, and as a holistic practitioner I support the use of flower essences in combination with nutrition, herbal medicine, talk therapy and conventional medicine.
